Weaving in Year One
We worked co-operatively, just like Co-operative Colin, to produce some beautiful woven designs.
We decorated our own strips of fabric, using oil pastels. We also used Brusho to add colour to the fabric.
When our fabric was dry, we took turns to weave the fabric onto a large frame.
We learnt some new words, such as "warp" and "weft".
Mrs Behboodi loves weaving, and she creates beautiful tapestries at home. She showed us one that took two months to make!
