We have an enrichment Art Club for our Year 2 children, which takes place during lunchtime. Throughout each project, the children learn about a different artist and look at their work, really enriching their cultural capital. 

This term, we have been learning about Giuseppe Arcimboldo. 

The children come each week to expand upon and develop their individual work, and experience what it is like to work just like an artist. They evaluate their work throughout, as well as develop their skills and understanding of art history. 

At the end of the project, we have a special assembly to celebrate the children's work, and each child receives a graduation certificate!
