Water Aid Week
What a fantastic watery fun week we have had!!
The children have thoroughly enjoyed participating in activities with a 'water' theme to raise awareness on the vital importance of water as well as raising money for a very worthy cause.
On Wednesday 25th May the children had lots of fun in the playground exploring acitvities ranging from floating and sinking, washing clothes by hand, to carrying water in buckets.
On Friday 27th May we took part in a very successful Water Aid Pupil Pipeline challenge, all the children and adults in the infant school created a 'human pipeline'. We passed water in a variety of containers, from one part of the playground to another and tried our best not to spill any!! One child described this challenge as "The best fun EVER!!" Well done to all involved!
We raised a grand total of £1277.58 for this very important charity.
