Water Aid Week 2017
All week throughout the school, children have been using water as part of their learning and learning about the importance of water in everyone’s lives. In our assembly on Monday, we learned that not everyone has access to clean water for drinking, cooking and sanitation. Children also learned how we could all help to improve the experience of others by raising money to support the charity WaterAid.
We were so proud of Inas in Orange Class who has been collecting her pennies all year for WaterAid. She has collected £6! Inas you are a great role model and have shown us that we can all do something to help. Thank you
On Wednesday, we had our WaterAid Activity morning. Fortunately, the weather was kind to us! The children had a great time with their watery activities and got very wet. But they were also learning – how difficult it is to carry water without spilling it; how many spoons it takes to fill a container; how difficult it is to wash by hand, and lots more! You can see what fun we had when you look at our photos!
