The Great Fire of London Workshop - Year 2
Year Two had an amazing day learning all about life in 1666 and the Great Fire of London, led by Fiona from "History Off the Page"
The children were transported back to 1666, and they took part in lots of activities such as embossing leather, weaving and baking bread, all interspersed with drama re-enacting the day of the great fire.
We received very positive feedback from Fiona, who said that the children were highly engaged and also were able to answer her quite specific questions very accurately. Great listening and remembering, Year 2!
The children gained so much from this immersive experience.
