Water Aid Day

On 24th May 2013 our school held a sponsored WaterAid Day to raise both money for, and awareness of, the work of this charity.

On 24th May 2013 our school held a sponsored WaterAid Day to raise both money for, and awareness of, the work of this charity.

The children started the day with a whole school assembly about the importance of clean fresh water which followed by our sponsored 'watery' activities in the playground. Despite the fact that it was raining we all had a lot of fun.   In the afternoon our Year One children gave a performance of the WaterAid songs to their parents.

We are really proud of the very generous response from our school community to this fundraising event which has raised £1003.17. We know that it will make a big difference to many lives.
